39MT gear-reduction starter with electrical soft-start and Over-Crank Protection (OCP).
The 39MT is a compact gear-reduction starter that uses an electrical soft-start to pre-align pinion-to-ring engagement, virtually eliminating tooth-abutment damage. New service models ship with Over-Crank Protection (OCP) as standard and replace 40MT/42MT 12V 11T CW starters in many applications.
